As a former fat girl, my foray into health and fitness was stressful at first, and finding a trainer that wasn’t pushy or sales-y, who aligned with my fitness goals and wasn’t belittling or aggro was a challenge I wasn’t sure I would be able to conquer. But I’m happy too say that FLEX Training has stepped up to the plate and proven to be a great partner in fitness.
Sara is nothing short of amazing. She not only kicks our ass on a regular basis with her workouts that are tailored to our goals and focus areas, but she goes the extra mile to be an amazing mentor, motivator, and support system in our fitness endeavors.
Sara continuously support us in whatever we want to do, keep our workouts interesting (kickboxing anyone?) and in line with our goals, and make our training an experience I recommend to anyone and everyone.

Sara is an excellent personal trainer. She keeps training sessions interesting and challenging while also taking into account the client’s goals, likes/dislikes, abilities, and any physical concerns. Her techniques are adapted to the client, and she finds unique ways to keep clients motivated. Rachel has been a great source of motivation for positive change in all aspects of my life. Holistically, my diet, exercise, sleep schedule, and overall self-perception culminate to a better me. Rachel holds me accountable for my choices in order to be more fit and healthy by checking up on me as needed. Throughout my life food and diet have been the bane of my existence. I love to indulge; it has been a constant struggle. However, together with Rachel, I have found strategies to redefine my relationship with food. She has provided me with ample healthy food alternatives and meal ideas. Now I have an arsenal of delightfully fun and scrumptious food options, all of which help to alleviate and quell my unhealthy cravings and tendencies. Furthermore, she is highly flexible and always willing to work around my hectic work schedule for sessions.The personalized workouts are always fun and challenging, but they very feasible; she is always available whenever I have concerns or questions. I feel wonderful, stronger and healthier everyday, which I attribute to my personal trainer, Rachel.

When I first found Rachel for personal training, I was in an important and also difficult transition period of in my life, especially in terms of my self-care. I was battling a lot of old and new injury, as well as some debilitating physicaly conditions. I was referred to her by a friend I trusted, and I couldn’t be more pleased with her excellent and amazingly motivating attitude— not to mention, she has become a solid individual in my life who cares to take the time to stay up on how my life issues are affecting my training in the most professional way possible, so that we can circumvent the negative effects (i.e. injury, not hitting my numbers) of stress and lack of sleep on my workout routine. Her scheduling flexibility and willingness to work with you if you show the drive to work for yourself is also something I am grateful for, because my schedule is normally erratic. In short, I am appreciative of Rachel as more than just “the trainer who pushes me in my workouts.” She has empowered me to turn my life around.
